Velvet Hour

After finishing the cash register model, I wanted to dive into modeling an entire matching environment. The scene represents a restaurant from the 1920s. It’s not a replica of an existing place but is inspired by the Lyons Corner House restaurant. All models are from that historical period, and the scene layout is original. Since my first model was high-poly, I made an effort here to optimize my models so that almost all of them are low-poly. The focus was also on baking the models. Additionally, I started integrating ZBrush into my workflow, so some models were further refined in that software. All models were created in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered with Arnold.

These are the first two renders of this project — one set late at night and the other in the early morning.
